rugged + natural + modern
TYPE PAIRING:
I chose this font because the strokes were not smooth and polished, giving a worn and rugged but somewhat clean feel. I felt it was a great balance between rugged and modern.
DETAILS:
I took the chosen type and started pairing it with he words to get a feel for layouts. I wanted to go with a simple and clean layout to balance out the rugged font and to keep it modern.
COLOR:
I chose a couple colors that complimented one another and were more natural earthy colors.
I used this picture as inspiration for the color pallet. I pulled colors and tones from it to choose some natural colors.
DRAFT LOGO:
I felt the colors and photography was still a bit too clean so I added in a leather texture. I added a mask on it and played with the transparency.
