event poster series

ELECTRIC FOREST

The objective of this project was to create a series of posters that took into consideration the audience, the culture, and the history behind the event.

The goal with this project was to create 3 posters that can be included in a series or stand alone as singles. These posters are designed to promote the Electric Forest Musical Festival’s event while speak to EF’s ideal audience. This project had a time limit of two weeks so I, the designer deep dove into researching previous work for the event, their attendee’s ages, location, and dates.

I got into the heads of the festival attendees and designed in a way that would attract and resonate with the audience while getting them geeked for the upcoming event. Electric Forest attracts 18-30 year old, electronic music enjoyers, and free spirits. This allowed me to adventure into new and create ways of designing from her previous projects. The biggest takeaway from this project was learning how to create designs fast and communicate not just information but the culture of an event in big, bold and colorful ways.
